THE DARMSTADT HEALTH CLINIC IS NO LONGER STAFFED TO PROVIDE APPOINTMENTS OR TELEPHONE CONSULTS FOR TRICARE STANDARD RETIREES, RETIREE FAMILY MEMBERS OR PAY PETIENTS. AFN HESSEN WAS THERE THE DAY DARMSTADT'S HEALTH CLINIC HAD IT'S FINAL RETIREE HEALTH FAIR.

Another U.S. military community in Europe is set to close its doors soon due the Army’s transformation. In a show of gratitude, the civilian population of Hanau, Germany has begun the process of saying goodbye. The official closing ceremony for the Hanau military community will take place in September.

For graduating high school seniors, money for college can be hard to come by. But students at H.H. Arnold High School in Wiesbaden, Germany found an easy way to get money. They organized an event to give Wiesbaden families a day of fun, while earning a little money on the side. The Wiesbaden High School senior class raised almost $12,000.00 towards college tuition.

For years in Europe, the Soldiers of the 64th Replacement Company has had the responsibility of helping get newly arrived Soldiers and their families to their final duty destinations. But because of the Army’s continuing transformation, the unit has been inactivated while the Soldiers are seeing a modification to their mission.
